I've finally reached a shape I'm more or less happy with for my lugs. I've shown them side-by-side with an uncarved set of Prugnat "Type S" lugs, which is how mine started their life.
Thanks! And I was back in the shop yesterday, and had a chance to reinforce the binder on that stamped lug. Pretty fun -- lots of brass! Photos when it's ready...
Where did you get the Prugnat lugs? I've been looking for some for a while because of their extra meat (makes it easier to carve myself) and can't find any. Any suggestions? Otherwise, know anyone else making lug blanks with plenty of room to get creative? Just hoping someone will have an answer!

I got mine from http://www.bicycleclassics.com/ who are apparently now "temporarily closed."
