Paul Butler's "The Greg Curnoe Bike Project" at the AGO

Paul Butler's Greg Curnoe Bike Project is under way at the Art Gallery of Ontario, and runs until November 13th.

For my own totally different Greg Curnoe Bike project, completed last spring, read my artistic statement and look at photos.

How is the Gaudi bike progressing?

Not at all, I'm afraid. Academic life has sucked me in completely. Not only have I not set foot in my shop in months -- I no longer even have a shop to set foot in! (The space was donated very generously, but taken back from disuse...)

I'm afraid I can't see much more time opening up in 2012, but hope springs eternal...

Happy New Year to anyone reading this...

I think I have been bitten by the frame building bug (or there is something in Toronto's water). I have just placed an order for some tubes and lugs for my first frame. Ever since riding with Bicyclesport as a kid I wanted a Mariposa. Now that Mike has retired, it's all up to me. If you feel like collaborating at some point give me a shout!
